President of Turkmenistan extends condolences to UK Government over Manchester Arena attack

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov extended condolences to the Queen Elizabeth and country’s Prime Minister Theresa May over the terrorist attack at the Manchester Arena.

“Strongly condemning any kids of terrorism and extremism, Turkmenistan fully supports the international community’s efforts to fight and eradicate this evil," the telegram read.

On behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as in his own name,Berdimuhamedov conveyed the words of sincere sympathy and support to the bereaved families and the wishes for speedy recovery to the injured.

A bombing attack killed at least 22 people and injured 59 others at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England, Monday night.

The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack. The perpetrator has been identified as Salman Abedi, 22, a Mancunian of Libyan descent. He walked into the lobby of the arena on Monday evening as thousands of people were exiting the concert, detonating an improvised device that murdered and maimed many.
