AKIPRESS.COM - President Khaltmaa Battulga of Mongolia congratulated Kyrgyz president-elect Sooronbai Jeenbekov on the victory in Kyrgyzstan's historic vote on past Sunday.

"Our peoples have established parliamentary form of ruling and successfully developing democracy in society and market economy," the message reads.

Battulga expressed readiness to further expansion and development of friendly relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan.

Jeenbekov, former prime minister of Kyrgyzstan, has won Oct.15 election with more than 54% of the votes. His inauguration is expected to take place before December 4.
