Astana cleans about 47,000 m2 of snow over the weekend

Astana utility services cleaned 46,654 m2 of snow from February 22-23, astana.kz reported citing the Astana Tazalyk LLP.
From February 22-23, 14,939 m2 of snow were cleaned in Almaty district; 13,660 m2 of snow - in Saryarka district; 18,055 m2 - Esil district, said in the report.
Cleaning works are performed 24/7 in Astana due to heavy snow falls, the severe colds are expected to remain in the city for several days.
