AKIPRESS.COM - The major part of Kazakhstan will remain under the influence of anticyclone in a freezing weather, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan reported.

Unstable weather will be in the north and north-west of the country. Blizzard and strong winds (15-20 m/s) are expected in Akmola and North Kazakhstan regions.

On February 25, Snowstorm is expected in the second half of day in Kostanay region with the wind (15-20 m/s). Kyzylorda, Mangistau, and Atyrau regions should expect strong winds of 15-20 m/s, too.

Heavy frost to remain in Almaty region. Severe frosts and low temperature is also expected in South Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, and Karaganda regions.
