Taliban urge people not to participate in Afghanistan's presidential elections

AKIPRESS.COM - Afghan population Representatives of the Taliban movement urged population of Afghanistan not to participate in presidential elections, according to local media.

The U.S. is looking for an excuse to extend their presence and occupation of Afghanistan by an indirect method, Taliban said. The movement will consider any assistance to the electoral process as aiding foreign forces to extend the U.S. presence in the country, which is contrary to Afghanistan's interests and religion.

Representatives of Taliban have expressed their intention to use all the strength to disrupt the election campaign, including by attacks on organizers and electioneerers.

If anyone is still going to participate in the elections, they will be responsible for any losses in the future, Taliban stressed in the statement.
