AKIPRESS.COM - South Korea has allocated a $43.5-million loan to Azerbaijan, AzerNews reported referring to the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan.
The loan agreement was signed by Finance Minister Samir Sharifov and South Korean Ambassador Choi Suk-Yin in Baku on March 11.
The funds will be provided by the South Korea Export-Import Bank's Economic Development Cooperation Fund for construction of a water purification plant in Baku's Pirshaga settlement.
The two parties highlighted bilateral cooperation in economic, cultural, petrochemical, power, transport, tourism and other areas.
