EU agrees to remove duties on Ukrainian exports

AKIPRESS.COM - EU+Ukraine The European Union has agreed to exempt Ukrainian exports to the EU from duties. The decision will come into force on Friday after Ukraine signs the political part of the association agreement with the EU, a diplomatic source has told Itar-Tass.

It was planned that a part of the agreement to reduce trade duties on some Ukrainian export goods would come into force immediately after the document was signed without waiting for its ratification.

The signing of the political part of the association agreement with the EU is planned for this Friday in Brussels. Ukraine's Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and the heads of the 28 states and governments of the European Union will sign the document.
