AKIPRESS.COM - The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Germany, the Ministry of Economics and Technology of Bavaria, and the Chamber of Commerce organized hosted the Day of Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Bavaria, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan reported.

Over 200 representatives of official and economic circles of the federal state as well as heads of major corporations and companies of Bavaria attended the event. The aim of the event was expansion of cooperation with Bavaria, attraction of German investment to Kazakhstan.

Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Germany Nurlan Onzhanov told about the current state of development of Kazakhstan's economy and favorable investment climate in the country, as well as the interim results achieved by the Government of Kazakhstan in the course of implementation of the State Program of Forced Industrial - Innovative Development of Kazakhstan in 2010-2014. In this regard, he called on the business community of Bavaria to actively use the existing potential and conditions for deepening and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with Kazakhstan.

The panel discussion on prospects of commodity, industrial and technological partnership was also negotiated over the issues of further developing of effective commodity, industrial and technological partnership between Kazakhstan and Germany.

Bavarian participants noted the important role of Kazakhstan in the matters of energy and mineral security of Germany.
