AKIPRESS.COM - Inflation rate in Kazakhstan in March 2014 equaled to 1%, the Agency for Statistics of Kazakhstan reported.

The food prices in the past month increased by 1.3%, non-food prices - 1%, paid services – 0.5%, the Agency says.

The last month the average price increase for fresh vegetables was registered at 7.5%, potatoes - 6.8%, sugar - 6%, fresh fruit - 4%, cheese - 3.7%, cottage cheese, fish and seafood - 1.8%, rice - 1.7%, oats - 1.4%, sausages, meat products - 1.2%, pasteurized milk - 1%, dairy products, flour - 0.9%, bread, soft drinks, butter - 0.8%, semolina, pasta - 0.4%.
