Hassan Rouhani inaugurates 27th Tehran International Book Fair

AKIPRESS.COM - Tehran book fair The 27th Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF) was inaugurated by President Hassan Rouhani Tuesday morning, FNA reported.

Several senior publishers were honored by President at the opening ceremony which was also attended by Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ali Jannati and some other senior officials.

Tehran International Book Fair is an annual international book fair held in Tehran, Iran. Held in a 120,000 square meter venue at Tehran's Grand Prayer Grounds, the event also provides an opportunity for publishers to discuss future cooperation.

The fair also features special sections, including the House of Literati that honors prominent Iranian cultural figures from a variety of disciplines.

The TIBF will last until May 10, 2014.
