Samsung to pay Apple $120 mln for infringements

AKIPRESS.COM - apple-vs-samsung A jury in the United States has said the smartphone maker Samsung must pay the technology company Apple in the infringement of three patents, Digital Journal reported.

The amount Samsung was to pay remained unchanged at $119.6 million after additional deliberations had been considered at the trial at a federal court in San Jose, California.

The compensation was previously ordered May 2, but an attorney for Apple argued there was a technical error in awarding the company on a patent.

Separately, it had been found that Apple had infringed on a patent by Samsung, which was awarded $158,400.
