Putin signs law simplifying obtaining of Russian citizenship for Russian-speaking individuals

Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Amending Federal Law On Russian Federation Citizenship, Kremlin official website said June 23.
The Law is aimed at simplifying procedures for adoption of Russian citizenship by foreign nationals and stateless persons living on Russia’s territory.
Those are entrepreneurs, investors, highly-trained experts and graduates of Russian institutions of higher education.
Simplification of procedures also concerns foreign nationals and stateless persons permanently residing on Russia’s territory and recognised native speakers of Russian language.
