AKIPRESS.COM - Chairing an enlarged government meeting, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov made a number of appointments in Government.

The President dismissed Deputy Prime Minister for Industry Babaniyaz Italmazov. He was replaced with Batyr Ereshov, who worked as Minister of Construction and Architecture. Deputy Minister of Construction and Architecture Gapurberdi Bayrammyradov was promoted to the post of Minister of Construction and Architecture.

He also relieved Mele Gurbandurdyev of his post of Minister of Motor Transport in connection with his transfer to another position. Maksat Aydogdyev, formerly Deputy Minister of Motor Transport of Turkmenistan was appointed the head of the ministry.

Babamyrat Taganov was removed from the post of Minister of Economy and Development of Turkmenistan in connection with his transfer to another position. Chairman of the Agency for Protection of Economy from Risks Vepa Abdylhekimov was appointed Minister of Economy and Development of Turkmenistan.

Dovletgeldi Sadykov was relieved of his post of Minister of Finance in connection with his transfer to another position. He was replaced with Muhammetguly Mukhammedov, who worked as Deputy Minister.

Annageldy Garadzhaev, formerly Deputy Minister and Acting Minister of culture, was appointed Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan.
