Kazakhstan's Shymkent refinery modernization program suspended until spring 2015 - governor

AKIPRESS.COM - refinery Shymkent refinery's modernization program will kick off the coming spring 2015, said Governor of South Kazakhstan region Askar Myrzkhmetov a CCS media briefing on Friday.

So far, Kazakhstan has 3 oil producing plants with the capacity of 18 billion tons of oil a year: the JSC “Atyrau OPP”, PLC “Pavlodar Oil Chemistry Plant” and the JSC “Shymkentoilorgsynthesis”.

The three refineries produce gasoline of А-76, А-80, А-85, АI-91-93, АI-96 brands, diesel fuel, fuel oil (mazut), air and kerosene, heating oil, liquefied petroleum gas and other petroleum products.
