160 billion tenge or nealy US$ 881 million will be allocated from the National Fund of Kazakhstan for modernization of housing and communal services in 2015 - 2016 years, Minister of National Economy Erbolat Dossayev said.
The modernization of projects will allow to reduce wear of heat networks, water supply and sanitation from 65% to 53%.
He also said that it is planned to achieve a number of key performance indicators to create housing infrastructure.
Over 1.4 million square meters of housing will be built until 2020 for projects on social rental housing.
60% of rental housing - in agglomerations of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, Aktobe, and 40% - in the regional centers, company towns and rural settlements.
