Kazakhstan Parliament ratifies tax deal with Qatar

The upper house of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, the Senate, has ratified today the agreement between Kazakhstan and Qatar on mutual avoidance of double taxation.
The agreement signed in Astana on 19 January 2014 is to enhance economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Qatar by creating favorable conditions for making investments.
The document envisages the avoidance of double taxation for businesses and individuals of both Kazakhstan and Qatar.
The agreement also stipulates exchange of information between the tax agencies of Kazakhstan and Qatar.
