Russia, Turkmenistan to continue debates on dual nationality - Lavrov

Moscow and Ashgabat will continue consultations on how to deal with problems of dual citizenship, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Tuesday after talks with his Turkmen counterpart Rashid Meredov.
"We will continue consultations on that issue in accordance with the instructions given by the presidents after their meeting in Astrakhan on September 29, 2014," Lavrov said, reports Tass.
Lavrov arrived in Turkmenistan following his visit to China. The Russian foreign minister’s previous visit to the former Soviet republic took place in April 2013.
