AKIPRESS.COM - Journalists of Kyrgyzstan participated in Annual Investment Meeting (AIM 2015) which took place in Dubai from March 30 to April 1.

Annual Investment Meeting was held for the fifth time in a row at the initiative of the Ministry of Economy of the United Arab Emirates and under the patronage of the Ruler of Dubai and Prime Minister, Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The large-scale event focused primarily on development of foreign direct investment and included an intellectual exhibition of corporate and individual investors, as well as a number of sessions and meetings on a given subject.

The exhibition presented nearly 500 investors from 140 countries who have had the opportunity not only to see the goods and products of each other but also to build partnership relationships. Pavilions helped investors learn about new opportunities to invest in various sectors of the countries presented there, ranging from large companies to small private enterprises producing tea.

AIM 2015 was attended by dignitaries and senior executives from regional and international investment communities, world-renowned manufacturers and leading financial experts to discuss economic governance, strategic expansion and sustainability.

Economic ministers from Ghana, Macedonia, Nicaragua, Portugal, Russia and the UAE also presented their perspectives on foreign direct investment and public-private partnership.
