AKIPRESS.COM - As Ashgabat hosts the Asian Olympic Games in 2017, the new sport federations are being launched in Turkmenistan.

One of them is the Federation of Billiard Sports that was launched recently, reports the state news agency of Turkmenistan.

The Federation is going to open its branches in five provinces of Turkmenistan.

On June 1, Ashgabat hosted a tournament with the participation of 60 billiard players from the regions of the country.

Batyr Ashirov and Begench Aydogdiyev met in the finale that ended with the score of 7:5 in favor of Aydogdiyev.

Now the sportsmen are getting ready for the international tournaments.
