Lion cubs born in National Museum of Wildlife Turkmenistan

AKIPRESS.COM - lionetThe pair of lions were born in the National Museum of Wildlife of Turkmenistan to become the first offspring of lions, reports Infoabad on June 26.

The visitors of the zoo can see the lionets of 2-3 months.

The National Museum of Wildlife of Turkmenistan was opened in 2010. It is located in Gokdere on the territory of more than 40 hectares.

Over 250 species of wild predators, domestic animals, birds and reptiles, representatives of the underwater world inhabit in the zoo, many of which are listed in the Red Book.

Thematically, the zoo is divided into four zones: "African Savanna" and "possession of predators" in the eastern part of the park, "the territory of prey" and "bird market" - in its western part.

In 2010, the lions became one of the first inhabitants of the National Museum of Wildlife Turkmenistan. The visitors of the zoo can also see kangaroos, ostriches, buffaloes, white rhinos, zebras, giraffes crowned, two-humped camels, Nile crocodiles, pythons and other snakes, leopards, lions, tigers, cranes, swans, gray parrots, white cockatoos, peacocks, pheasants , different horses, antelopes, llamas, markhor goats, mountain sheep, deer, gazelles and many other animals.

Today, the National Museum of Wildlife has become the country's largest scientific, environmental, cultural and educational center.
