Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang met last week with Prime Minister of Mongolia Chimediin Saikhanbileg who was in China to attend the Summer Davos Forum 2015, the press service of the Chinese Premier said.
Li Keqiang stated that China and Mongolia are friendly neighbors and important cooperative partners. China is willing to, together with Mongolia, strengthen political mutual trust, enhance strategic communication, and expand exchanges and cooperation at all levels, so as to realize mutual benefits and win-win results.
Li Keqiang expressed his hope that the two governments could continue to play a leading role in promoting bilateral cooperation, and at the same time arouse the enthusiasm of bilateral enterprises to strengthen cooperation in such fields as coal gasification, electric power and the deep processing of agricultural and livestock products, thus promote the sustainable development of China-Mongolia economic and trade cooperation. China would like to see the financial stability of its neighboring countries and is willing to expand financial cooperation with Mongolia.
Chimediin Saikhanbileg stated that the Mongolian side attaches importance to the initiative proposed by China on bilateral practical cooperation, and looks forward to strengthening bilateral political, economic and trade relations. Mongolia would like to implement the consensus reached by the two sides and thus accelerate the cooperation on major projects in areas such as mining, electric power and railway transport.
