AKIPRESS.COM - President of Mongolia Tsakhia Elbegdorj and President of the Federal Republic of Germany Joachim Gauk held official talks on October 15.

Elbegdorj thanked Gauk for a visit and said that Germany is the main partner of Mongolia in Europe, state news agency reports. 

Mentioning that the visit coincides with the 25th anniversary of Mongolia’s first democratic election, he noted the visit should serve in deepening of bilateral relations.

Gauk in response said Germany appreciates Mongolia’s consistent striving for democracy and expressed confidence in the further deepening of bilateral cooperation.
