AKIPRESS.COM - In January-September 2015, the volume of industrial products (goods and services) amounted to 194.8 billion tenge in Astana, according to the date of the Astana Department of Statistics.

The volume of production was 8% more than in January-September 2014.

The physical volume of products in manufacturing industry increased by 9.2%, compared to the level of January-September 2014, and amounted to 151.4 billion tenge in current prices.

The increase in production volumes in manufacturing industry is observed in the steel industry, in the manufacture of wood and cork items, except furniture; manufacture of articles of straw and plaiting materials.

The food production volume, in turn, has decreased in comparison the the previous year by 4.9%. Sausage production decreased by 19.5%. At the same time, production of pasta increased by 9.8%.
