Law students can participate in trial monitoring

AKIPRESS.COM - trialThe United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in partnership with the Institute of Ombudsman of Kyrgyzstan conducts a contest among the law students to participate in monitoring of the trials, the UNDP reports.

Attracting students in the monitoring of trials is aimed at increasing the number of people involved in the monitoring of observance of human rights and freedoms at court hearings.

Monitoring will be carried out in the courts of Bishkek under the leadership of monitoring sector of the Institute of Ombudsman.

The best students will be awarded prizes and included in the database of the Institute of Ombudsman monitors. Participation in the monitoring is free.
