Turkmenistan Airlines (T5, Ashgabat) is studying the possibility of incorporating 50- to 100-seat aircraft into its fleet amid plans to boost its domestic coverage, reports ch-aviation.com.
Announcing its operational results for the first nine months of the year, the Turmenistani carrier said it was still studying proposals from various manufacturers.
Currently, the smallest aircraft in the carrier's fleet is the B717-200 of which it operates seven on flights to Balkanabat, Dashogus, and Turkmenabat from its Ashgabat hub.
Turkmenistan Airlines domestic operations also cover Mary and Turkmenbashi which are served with B737-800s.
