Oscar Pistorius has been granted bail by a South African Court after his murder conviction for killing girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
A new sentence will be handed down at a later date.
"The case is postponed until April 16 2016. The applicant is released on bail of 10,000 rand ($690)," judge president Aubrey Ledwaba told Pretoria High Court, reports The Telegraph.
The hearing came his lawyers said they would launch an appeal to South Africa's constitutional court.
The South African Supreme Court of Appeal last week overturned his earlier conviction on the lesser charge of culpable homicide to murder for shooting dead Reeva Steenkamp in the early hours of Valentine's Day, 2013.
Pistorius, 29, is currently under house arrest in Pretoria after serving one year of his five-year prison sentence for culpable homicide - the equivalent of manslaughter.
Following the granting of bail until April 2016, Pistorius will continue to live under house arrest at his uncle's home.
