AKIPRESS.COM - Lady Gaga won the Best Actress in a Limited Series, Series, or Motion Picture award at Sunday’s Golden Globes for her performance as the Countess in American Horror Story: Hotel’s fifth season.
“I feel like Cher in that John Patrick Shanley film Moonstruck right now,” she said onstage. “It’s like one of the greatest moments of my life," Entertainment Weekly reports.
The singer-actress went on to thank her each of her costars by name, thanking them for helping her to “shine,” and adding that she had dreamed of becoming an actress before she dreamed of becoming a singer, but “music worked out first.”
Gaga has previously been recognized by other awards shows — she has two Emmy nominations and five Grammy wins under her belt — but this marks both her first Golden Globe nomination and win.
