'Several killed' in explosion in Istanbul's Sultanahmet Square
AKIPRESS.COM - Several people are reported to have been killed in an explosion in a central square in Turkey's biggest city, Istanbu, on Tuesday.
Turkish media has reported a number of deaths and injuries in Sultanahmet Square, close to the major tourist attractions of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia.
Witnesses reported hearing a loud blast and saw ambulances rushing to the scene.
