Explosion in a trade center in the Iranian capital city of Tehran on March 16 left at least 39 injured, reports Trend.
The explosion took place at 5.14 pm local time (GMT+3:30) in a gold workshop of the Tehran Grand Bazaar.
A gas cylinder is suspected to be behind the blast, Hassan Abbasi, an official at Tehran's medical emergency center, said.
Some of the injured are reportedly in serious condition.
The cause of the explosion is being investigated by experts of the Tehran Fire Department.
Police blocked off roads in and around the market to help first responders, who had to make their way through the historic bazaar's vast labyrinth of alleys.
