AKIPRESS.COM - DSC03598-164026-896644906 The National Emergency Management Agency transferred 28 fire trucks and service vehicles worth €5 million to emergency management agencies of Chingeltei, Sukhbaatar, Bayanzurkh, Songinokhairkhan districts and those in provinces, reports The UB Post.

Sixteen of the vehicles were supplied by the Austria’s Rosenbauer International through an agreement between the Austrian and Mongolian governments, and 12 South Korean fire trucks were supplied by the Nomin Trading LLC.

The fire trucks and vehicles were designed and manufactured to fit Mongolia’s weather conditions.

In 2015, the state provided over 20 billion togrog (around US$9.8 mln) to the emergency management sector. By receiving these vehicles, the capability of the emergency management agencies will increase at least two times compared to last year, note the officials.
