AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Roads and Transportation of Mongolia Munkhchuluu Zorigt said the special railroad car for people with disabilities transported its first passengers to Sainshand district this week, The UB Post reports.
Passenger train depot engineers started equipping the car on January 15 under the Ministry of Roads and Transportation decree.
“We cooperated with unions for people with disabilities and worked based on their advice. We didn’t build a new car but equipped those being used for special purposes to make it suitable for people with disabilities,” said the depot engineer.
The railroad car enables six people with disabilities to travel along with their caretakers.
