Lavrov stresses importance of Russia-Mongolia-China economic corridor

AKIPRESS.COM - lavrov-Russia Establishment of an economic corridor connecting Russia, Mongolia and China may be included in agenda of the countries’ leaders on the fringes of the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) summit due in Tashkent in June, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Thursday, reports TASS.

"We consider it very important to apply efforts in fulfilling of the roadmap on development of cooperation between these three countries, as well as in soonest finalizing of a program on the economic corridor between Russia, Mongolia and China, which could be presented for further approval to the leaders on the fringes of the SCO summit in Tashkent," he said.
