AKIPRESS.COM - The Ulaanbaatar Health Department announced that more than 300,000 people will be vaccinated against measles, mumps and rubella. The immunization program will start next month and primarily involve vulnerable groups such as students and children, according to The UB Post.
The City Department advised young people to actively participate in the immunization program and prevent the spread of the disease, which has already killed 62 since December 2015. Immunization will be set up in clinics around the Mongolian capital, and their locations will be announced next week.
The spread of the disease has been contained, and related agencies and ministries are working at full capacity to take measures to address the issue, the Ulaanbaatar Health Department noticed.
