Kyrgyzstanis raise $45,000 for successful liver transplantation of young girl in India

AKIPRESS.COM - New Delhi A young family from Kyrgyzstan thanks people of Kyrgyzstan who donated $45,000 as a result of crowd-funding action necessary for liver transplantation for their young daughter in New Delhi.

Father of young Nariste, Ulan Muratov, has become a donor.

The young girl was diagnosed the first stage of cirrhosis at the age of 2 months. The surgery in Kyrgyzstan did not bring the desirable results. The parents learnt about possible operation in New Delhi.

Indian doctors found the baby did not have gall bladder. The operation lasted around 25 hours. The girl's life was saved by a liver transplantation and exchange transfusion.

Doctors promise Nariste will live a normal life in case her parents follow prescriptions in the next 3-5 months. The girl's health condition is good now.
