AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolia’s national carrier MIAT received a new Boeing 767-300 jet airliner to join its fleet, said News.mn.

The new plane was flown to Ulaanbaatar from Marseilles, France. The aircraft, which is being leased from the U.K.-based Pembroke Aircraft Leasing has a flight range of 11,000 kilometers, a speed of 850 km/h at a maximum ceiling of 12,500 meters.

The length of the new aircraft is 54.9 meters, the wingspan is 47.6 meters, the height of the fuselage is 5.41 meters and the width is 5.03 meters.

MIAT, which is a state property company, decided to rent this Boeing following the expiry period of a similar aircraft.
