AKIPRESS.COM - Iran's President Hassan Rouhani in a message to his Mongolian counterpart Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj expressed his congratulations on Mongolia's National Day, Mehr News reported.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani expressed his sincere congradulations to Preisdent Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj on the advent of National Day of Mongolia, and called for further development of ties between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Mongolia regarding the historical and cultural bonds between the two countries.

"I pray to the Almighty God for your health and success, as well as the Mongolian nation’s prosperity," President Rouhani said in the message.

Mongolia is celebrating its 95th National Day on July 11, commemorating the freedom from the Chinese rule in 1921. The country's capital Ulaanbaatar hosts the biggest national festival 'Naadam' during the National Holiday from July 11-13.
