AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of Mongolia Jargaltulga Erdenebat has received the Ambassador of Kuwait to Mongolia Khalid Yateem Al-Fadhli on August 16  to discuss cooperation issues.

During the meeting, the Ambassador said that the Kuwait Development Fund has been playing an important role in the growth of Mongolia's key economic sectors and wishes to increase the investments.

The Kuwait fund has decided in 2006 to give Mongolia non-refundable aid of USD 12 million. The PM Erdenebat said the funds will go to financing of construction of a burn treatment center.

The Kuwaiti side has once again offered assistance in extension of Undurkhaan Airport.
