Mongolia will mark the birthday of Genghis Khan (Chinggis Khaan in Mongolian), the founder and Emperor of the Mongol Empire, on 31 October, according to News.mn.
The date has been celebrated nationwide since 2012, after the Mongolian Parliament decided that the first day of winter, according to the lunar calendar, will be marked annually as the country's Day of Pride.
Special ceremonies will be organized across Mongolia in this regard.
