The Mongolian Stock Exchange has been proposed to be privatized, News.mn reported referring to a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The Mongolian Stock Exchange, the state-owned shareholding company, will be probably privatized for 20 billion togrog (around US$8.81 million) by the Ministry of Finance.
The Mongolian Stock Exchange's losses amounted to 613 million togrog ($270 thousand) during the first six month of 2016.
According to the Ministry of Finance, 70% of state-owned companies in Mongolia are operating at a loss.
