AKIPRESS.COM - President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj welcomed the Ambassador of Turkey to Mongolia, Murat Karagoz upon his completion of the diplomatic mission.

The Ambassador appreciated the President of Mongolia for taking time to meet with him and said that Mongolia left him with some very pleasant memories. He expressed sincere appreciation to the Government and the people of Mongolia for cooperation and support in his diplomatic mission.

Then, the President emphasized the contribution of Ambassador Karagoz in strengthening relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Turkey since 2013 and expressed hope that bilateral relations between the both countries will further develop and his successor will commit as much as he did in last 3 years.

The Ambassador underlined that during his tenure the bilateral cooperation has been strengthened in defense, culture and education sectors and the number of scholarships have been increased. He also noted the need to pay close attention to expanding economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

Concluding the meeting, the President of Mongolia conveyed greetings to the President of on the occasion of the Republic Day of Turkey and wished the Ambassador success for his future endeavors.
