Mongolian Speaker receives Tibetan parliament delegates

AKIPRESS.COM - Chairman of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia M.Enkhbold received delegates from Tibet, headed by the Vice Chairman of the Tibet Autonomous Region of China, on October 31.

This is the first parliament-level visit from Tibet to Mongolia, noted the Speaker. He also applauded the growth of ties between Mongolia and Tibet, the two peoples that have long-standing cultural bonds from the ancient times, in all spheres including politics, society and people-to-people contacts.

The head of the delegation thanked highlighted: "The future of Tibet looks bright, as a goal is pursued towards building a prosperous society by 2020 under the leadership of Xi Jinping and the Chinese Communist Party."

Mongolia will continue to maintain its policy, which views Tibet as an integral part of China, noted the Speaker and wished the Tibetan Vice Chairman a success in his endeavors for future development of Tibet.
