AKIPRESS.COM - Republican Party nominee Donald Trump has won the historic elections of the 45th president of the United States with 276 electoral votes (57,246,646 votes). Republicans won majority seats in the US Senate and US House of Representatives either.
His main rival Hilary Clinton took only 218 electoral votes (57,246,646 votes). Hillary Clinton will not speak until US morning, her campaign manager John Podesta told supporters to go home. "We have nothing more to say tonight."

Trump, 70, is an American businessman, television producer, and politician.
It is the Electoral College, a group of 538 people, that chooses the winner and just half of them - 270 - are needed to make a president of the United States. Each state has certain number of electors based on their population in the most recent census. When citizens vote for their preferred candidate, they're actually voting for the electors, some of which are pledged to one candidate, some for another.
