AKIPRESS.COM - Commercial banks of Uzbekistan will install about 1,000 ATMs in Tashkent in 2017, National Bank's Main Department Chief Mazhid Tohirov said.

ATMs will be provided with cash in necessary volume. At the same time, this will not impact allocation of cash to the organizations to pay the salaries.

Currently, the commercial banks are working on selection of ATM vendors.

Tokhirov said that the supply and installation of ATMs will be conducted stage-by-stage. He said that necessary number of ATMs will be installed in the capital city, so people can withdraw cash, reports UzDaily.
