AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev today arrived in Russia, report the Russia media.

At the airport of the Vnukovo International Airport, the President was received by Russian officials.

It was earlier reported that the presidents during the 2-day trip of Mirziyoyev in Moscow will discuss the key issues of cooperation in political, economic, scientific and cultural spheres.

As a result of high-level talks, the heads of states plan to sign a joint statement of presidents of the two countries.

The meetings and talks are scheduled for April 5.
