Emergency meeting called by Buckingham Palace

AKIPRESS.COM - The entire household staff of the British royal family was called into an emergency meeting at Buckingham Palace early Thursday, according to reports.

Queen Elizabeth’s most senior aides reportedly ordered staff from royal residences across the country to London, the Daily Mail reported.

The nature of the meeting was not immediately known, but it sparked speculation about the health of the queen and her husband Prince Philip.

The employees were to be addressed by the Lord Chamberlain, the most senior officer of the royal household, and her majesty’s right-hand man, private secretary Sir Christopher Geidt.
