AKIPRESS.COM - Institute of Commissioner on protection of rights and interests of entrepreneurs under the President was established in Uzbekistan, UzDaily reported citing the decree of the President of Uzbekistan.

Institute will help introduce new mechanisms of efficient dialogue between business entities and state bodies, create additional guarantees of state protection of rights and interests of entrepreneurs.

According to the decree, the Commissioner will participate in formation and realization of the state policy in the sphere.  Commissioner will provide legal assistance to business entities during inspection of their activities. Commissioner will study norms and requirements of the legislation on guarantees of entrepreneurship freedom.

New body will assess efficiency of newly adopted legal documents and prepare proposals to improve corresponding legislation. Commissioner will conduct its operations independently from the state bodies and their officials. The decree said that President appoints and fires Commissioner on protection of rights and interests of entrepreneurs.

The decree also set rights and authorities of the Commissioner on protection of rights and interests of entrepreneurs. Uzbek President also ordered to develop a draft law “On Commissioner on protection of rights and interests of entrepreneurs under the President of Uzbekistan”.

The document will define the legal framework and guarantees, the main principles of the Commissioner’s activities, his rights and duties, the procedure for considering appeals of business entities, the procedure for its interaction with state bodies, business entities and civil society institutions.
