AKIPRESS.COM - President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon will visit Kazakhstan to participate in the 17th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the opening ceremony of the World EXPO in Astana, the sources in the Government told Asia-Plus news agency.

The SCO summit will take place on June 8-9. On the sidelines of the summit, Rahmon will hold bilateral talks with his colleagues in other countries.

Kazakh authorities say that the EXPO 2017 will be the largest exhibition of technical achievements in the world. The exhibition will bring together more than 100 countries and international organizations.
