AKIPRESS.COM - Speaker of Uzbek Senate Nigmatilla Yuldoshev received a delegation from Korea led by Speaker of the National Assembly Chung Sye-kyun, Uzbek media report.

Nigmatilla Yuldoshev noted that Uzbekistan highly values the existing level of bilateral relations and attaches great importance to further strengthening of strategic partnership with the Republic of Korea across the whole range of relations, including inter-parliamentary relations.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the state and prospects for further deepening of bilateral inter-parliamentary relations, as well as trade, economic and investment cooperation.

The sides expressed hope that the visit of the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Chung Sye-kyun to Uzbekistan will play an important role in strengthening and expanding inter-parliamentary relations and will give new impetus to further deepening of interaction between the legislative bodies of the two countries.
