AKIPRESS.COM - President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon congratulated the Tajik citizens on 23rd anniversary of adoption of the Constitution of the country, the President's press service said.

In his congratulatory speech, Rahmon reminded that the decision to adopt the Constitution in 1994 played a great role in establishment of the independent and democratic Tajikistan and provision of peace in the Tajik land.

“Constitution of Tajikistan is a guarantor of ensuring rights and freedoms of citizens of the country including freedom of speech and conscience,” the President noted.
