President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif discussed the Tajik-Iranian relations, the President's press service reported.
The talks focused on cooperation issues of the two countries, including implementation of the earlier reached agreements, development of cooperation in trade, investment, energy, transport, agricultural and industrial spheres.
The sides underlined the importance of organizing a joint intergovernmental commission meeting on trade and economic and cultural cooperation.
The Iranian diplomat as part of his visit on November 8 participated in the opening ceremony of the new building of the Embassy of Iran in Tajikistan.
